Second in the Road Long Gone Series. This is a replacement for the original Road Long Gone 1 that had mapping problems.
This cache is placed near the long closed Grunderville Road. It was a great short cut from RT 62 to Pleasant Drive outside Warren. PennDOT closed the road in the 90's as the road was constantly sliding down the hill and required periodic major maintenance. The closed road is in the middle of the existing Grurnderville Road as the road is still open on the east and west end. Most of the closed road is on private property so hiking from one end to the other is not a reality.
