Geocache Description:

This is my first multicache. It is the same container as the geocache Up on the Hillside was. Therefore, the box still says "Up on the Hillside", and the logbook still has the code GC1A4DD on it. Congratulations to medicrncen for FTF!

To find the cache, go to the listed coordinates and read the sign that will be nearby.
For the North coords, use the listed distance to Squilchuck State Park (which is where you'll be going, by the way), multiply by 8, add 3, and use coords N 47° 18.6XX' (XX being the number you get).
For the West coords, use the listed distance to Mission Ridge, multiply by 8, and use coords W 120° 22.2XX'.
To check, all of the numbers in the coordinates for north (4+7+1+8+etc.) should add up to 39 and the numbers for west should add up to 24.

Once you get the coords, drive up Squilchuck Rd to the state park's parking lot. Try to park near the entrance of the lot for shorter walking distance.

  1. This geocache has an approved Permit to be placed at this location on property managed by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission. Visitors are responsible for acquainting themselves with policies and rules pertaining to State Parks areas.
