Found this area while searching out
a couple of caches new to the area.
The area is one I had ALWAYS wanted to check out and drop some
caches, but spent too much time procrastinating.
The story is an old one; I have heard it before...
kinda goes like "A day late and a dollar short!"
Well, this cache is dedicated to my lack of inaction...
Always MEANT to do it, but NEVER got -
[insert cache name here]!
GPS Satellite reception,
season of year, time of day, weather, etc.
may affect the coordinates you receive and their accuracy.
Coordinates were measured using a Garmin 60CSX in the "average"
mode; another averaged reading was taken with a Garmin Oregon
400T.
Other caches are in the area as well,
with more on the way!
Please be aware that the area is
home to numerous wildlife
including: black bear, deer, coyote,
mountain lion (possibly) and snakes (poisonous and
non-poisonous).
Please familiarize yourself with what to do should you
have an encounter.
Hunting is allowed, in season; please
be safe and wear hunter safety orange
attire
or geocache on Sundays when hunting is not
allowed.
The cache is located on NWCDC property which
requires a hiking permit.
Hiking permits have increased to
$12/year
and are available at:
