This cache was easy to access for 2WD. I believe a fence has bee erected since this cache was placed. It is still possible to park and walk to cache. When going to this site you will pass number of historical sites. A short drive from here will put you on the river which is easily accessable for swimming, picnicing and fishing. fishing. Enjoy.
"To get to this cache you pass a number of historic sites. If time is taken it is an educational trip,and quite interesting. This cache can be accessed easily by 2wd. Just a short drive from here is access to the Burdekin River which is excellent for swimming and fishing. This cache is on crown land and local camping laws need to be considered."
