The co-ordinates are for the "centre" of Canford Magna. This is a straightforward walk through village. Whilst parking is available at the roadside in the village if caching with children it may be safer to park at N 50° 47.312 W 001° 57.432. Please be aware of the traffic as it travels very quickly through the village. A wheel chair user could easily reach GZ but would need some help retrieving the cache.
Canford Magna was orginally built to house the estate workers of the nearby Canford Estate, now Canford School. The Lady Wimborne cottages in the village all have stone carved numbers on them which are not their street numbers but show the order in which they were built. These numbers are found on all of these cottages which can be seen in many places in the local area.
To perform the arithmetic you must substitiute the door numbers of the cottages for the carved stone numbers in the following calculations.
