Geocache Description:

This is a series of caches placed in the surrounds of Great Shefford Village.

Parking can be found at the village hall N 51.28.580 W 1.26.897 or at the village pub. The start of the walk follows the the Lambourn Valley Way. The walk is not suitable for pushchairs as there are several 'kissing' gates and stiles to climb.

The walk is approx 3.7miles long, though can be extended to include some other caches located around the village. Some caches do not contain a pen or pencil, so please bring your own.

Red Kites are regularly seen over the village. While sharp eyed observers may be lucky enough to see a Sparrowhawk. You'll also be able to spot Buzzards and Kestrels. Other wildlife such as foxes, deer, hares and badgers are also commonly seen.

Congratulations to 'apgeoseeker' on being FTF!

This cache is a medium sized container which contains the usual goodies. The cache is suitable for coins and TBs.
