Geocache Description:

The Barbados Railway Company Limited (BRCL) was incorporated in 1883. It was proposed to run from Bridgetown to Belleplaine, St. Andrew parish. In order to maintain a level grade from station to station, the railroad track followed the seacoast closely on this part of its journey. The Bathsheba / Tent Bay area is of particular scenic interest to photographers and nature lovers due to the spectacular views. This cache is one of the BRCL series.

Close to the roadway, you will be able to park safely. At this vista you can see the beach and rock formations along the east coast towards the north. The BRCL train roadbed can be seen immediately below you. Note the old railway rails in the shallows of the sea. As this is a fragile area, please do not wander or cause unnecessary erosion. It is not necessary to venture into the underbrush to find the cache. Please be careful how you park or stop along this road, as it is a highway!
The original cache contains only a small log. Please bring a pencil or pen to write your entry.
