Geiteryggen is a popular landmark and outdoor area in vicinity of Hedmark museum and on the shore of Lake Mjøsa. The museum is both indoors and a collection of old buildings. Great place for a hike, picnic ad museum visit. There may be people about in daytime, but the location is off the main track and screened by bushes in summer. Accessible all year, but on a slope and some scrambling required - take care. It is recommended to approach from the shore.
The cache is a small metal box with a log and pencil. It is hidden from view, but accessible without having to remove anything.
