Top of the World Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

onecrazycanadian: Hi,

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. Under directions from HQ, if the cache was archived for maintenance issues, it will not be unarchived. If you wish to replace it you will have to do so with a new listing.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

Regular sized ammo container hidden close to Falcon Trails Resort. No need to bushwack as there is trail close to the cache.

From this point you will see a breath taking view of Falcon Lake.

Falcon Lake evidently was named after Pierre Falcon (1793-1876) who was a famous Metis poet and songwriter. Pierre was born near present day Swan River to father who worked for the North West Compnay and Cree mother. He grew up and educated in Lower Canada and eventually married in the famous family of Grant Cuthbert. Pierre followed his father footsteps by working The North West Compnay and also The Hudson Bay Comapany.Pierre was quite the talented bard and sung songs of local goings on and was dubbed "The Bard of a Prairies"!
