The cache name is actually the name of the horse statue found nearby. This statue is one of nearly fifty that were created for “The Mane Event”, a project of the “Leadership Wichita Falls” Class of 2007. This was a combined public arts and fund raising project, with many local merchants sponsoring the purchase of the statues and the artists that painted them. Proceeds from associated charity auctions and merchandise sales went to benefit Faith Mission, Patsy’s House and Downtown Wichita Falls Development, Inc. The statues can now be found on display all around Wichita Falls.
The cache container is a magnetic micro. Log only, so bring your cache-pen.
BONUS!!! - Upload a photo of the horse AND send an e-mail to the cache owner correctly identifying the year, make and model of the car depicted on the horse’s right flank to score 50 bonus trivia points. (Trivia points have no value, monetary or otherwise.)
