Geo Caching is a new adventure to Scouting
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country

This year the Boy Scouts of America are celebrating their 100th Anniversary! They have created a great new patch for our great new (I know 10 years this weekend) up coming sport - Geo Caching!
Many of you do not know this however, Boy Scouting started in Barre, Vermont in 1909! Yes, VT is in the cutting edge again! Be sure to look for us Scouters in your area either doing community service, working with the youth, elderly, working in our parks, etc. Please join in our 100th Anniversary Festivities all around the state!
This is the home of our states Council office and our great Scout support Staff and Scout Shop - here you may find great items for Geo Caching or even pick up the new Cool Geo Caching patch! Open only M-Th. Speaking of our new Cool Geo Caching patch, congratulations goes out to the FTF winner Fugglestone, he won one of these beauties!
BSA has included many cool merits for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts this year! To name a few Hiking, Hockey...and also returned some Historical merits as well!
This cache has been recently included into a new series of Anniversary Caches in the state. So be on the look out for these caches to be released soon! A special prize will be awarded to the first cacher that finds all of the Scout Oath series caches.
