Geocache Description:

Tubrid, Ballylooby, South Tipperary.

This small townland has two old churches and an ancient graveyard situated close to each other.
The large church visible from the road is a Protestant church built in the early 19th century.

The smaller ruined church beyond it is the Mortuary Chapel. It may be in existence since the 15th century. The adjacent graveyard includes the burial site of Geoffrey Keating. He was a notable priest, poet and scholar.

Tubrid is located approximately 7km south of Cahir and 5km northeast of Clogheen.

The cache is a camouflaged film canister. BYOP.
