Welcome to Hyde House!
This is a small cache with log only. Please be a proper guest while you are visiting the artCentral property. If you come during open hours you will find local artists beautiful works.
About artCentral
artCentral is a nonprofit organization with the mission "to promote, exhibit, teach,
and foster the appreciation of fine art in our community." This mission realized through regularly scheduled exhibitions, workshops, classes, programs and special events.
We are housed in the large white Victorian house which was Katherine Hyde's home.
Her parents built the house and were the original owners of the greenhouse. She was an avid amateur painter, spending numerous winters in Florida and tropical locations,scenes for many of her paintings. After her death 11 years ago she left her home to the area art community to be used for artistic endeavor, and so it is!
Hours:
Thursday & Friday – 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday – Noon – 5 p.m.
