Geocache Description:

The access gates on bothe sides of the road are in and ready for use !!!!!

A new section of the Maricopa Trail or "MT". This trail has just been completed and the new signs should be up shortly. This trail will be getting new gates at this section on both sides of the road. Till then you are allowed to open the fencing but please close afterward.

If you take this trail N/NE you will come out at Lake Pleasant. Going S/SE will take you to the "Black Canyon Trail" and either north or south on that trail. You cannot currently access the "MT" over the Ben Avery Ranges on Game & Fish property leading to "MT Don't Shoot" cache.

Good Luck and Enjoy the "MT" !!

THERE ARE NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED. THIS IS STATE TRUST LAND AND A PERMIT IS REQUIRED FOR ACCESS BUT THEY HAVE CLOSED IT TO MOTORIZED VEHICLES EVEN WITH A PERMIT !!!!!!!
