How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Camoed pill bottle..New section of the "Maricopa Trail" or "MT". The trail has just been completed and the new signs and gate access will be done soon. Access through the temp. gate is allowed- close behind you !

Traveling S/SE on the "MT" will take you winding through the desert to the "Black Canyon Trail" or "BCT". Once there you will need to follow the "BCT" north or south to a trailhead. The "MT" does not currently cross the Ben Avery Shooting Ranges towards "MT Don't Shoot". Az Game & Fish have not issued a permit in fear of wandering hikers onto the ranges..hopefully this will change soon !

THERE IS NO MOTORIZED VEHICLE ACCESS. THE STATE TRUST LAND DEPT HAS CLOSED THIS AREA TO VEHICLES. HIKING / BIKING AND HORSES ARE THE ONLY WAY TO ACCESS..WELL MAYBE HOT AIR BALLOON-------BUT NO QUADS, MOTORCYLES OR 4X4'S !!!!!

Good Luck and Enjoy the "MT" !!!
