Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy find in a popular park next to a playground. It is just inland from Alki Beach and across a sports field from the Alki Community Center. Terrain is easy.

Went to a slgihtly different location after repeated muggles. Bring your own pen; log only. Please replace carefully

Originally built as a ballfield in 1911, the park is an extension of Schmitz Boulevard, and serves as an entrance to Schmitz Park from Alki Beach. The sea-theme playground, also known as the "whale tail" park for its central sculpture, boasts a play boat and large metal structure.
