venturetrex, his wife and grand-daughter are visiting home for a few weeks.
While planning to visit home for a few weeks this summer, venturetrex contacted El Nimrod for a list of caches that are a must find on my home province of Prince Edward Island. While emailing back and forth we decided a BBQ/Potluck get together would be an idea. So this is it.
The event will be held rain or shine at venturetrex's family cottage at Union Corner. June 27th, 2010. Turn down the dirt road @ GC1Y3MF, dronnord...TURN HERE. (You've all found it... right?) The event coordinates are from a grainy Google Earth, but look for the Caissie's Seashell Shanty sign at the end of the driveway. The cottage is fully equipped with indoor plumbing, fridge, stove, microwave, etc.
The meal will be at about 4:00pm but show up anytime after 1:00pm, The beach is only about 100' away.
El Nimrod is the activities coordinator for this event and he has a line up of games and activities for the young and old. The theme is "Island Summer Games" so come prepared to represent your home coordinates proudly! He tells me there will be Geo- Bingo as well so grab your dabbers!
Any one from outside of the area or "from away" can set up the tent or trailer for the night of June 26th and 27th. It will give you an opportunity to cache the area if you haven't already.
The grill, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc., will be supplied. BYOB.
Add this Event Cache to your watchlist for updates. Please write a note if you are planning on attending, include the number of people in your party, (they don't all have to be cachers).
