Sakamoto Ryoma (坂本龍馬) was a leader of the movement to overthrow the Tokugawa shogunate and one of the architects of modern Japan.
He was born in Kochi, of Tosa han.

The cache is hidden nearby the statue of Sakamoto Ryoma at Katsurahama Beach.

Katsurahama Beach is a scenic beach 30 minutes south of central Kochi by bus.
