From here at times 1 hour either side of low tide ,providing swell conditions are right Pressure builds up within the inner chamber within the rock which then forces jets of water across the harbour mouth with a loud Whoosh Also a few steps away is a remarkable example of folded rock strata is found on the slate plateaux at the harbour mouth, quite breathtaking Imagine the force required to do this. A big Thankyou to the National Trust for allowing me to place this cache .The National Trust supports and recognises Geocachers as the vast majority respect the countryside. The National trust shop and a visitor centre for any more questions.Just think where you might hide a cache be careful may be slippery a few swaps and a pot of the girls amber nectar for the ftf .
