Honey, where are my keys? Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

rustywa: I have picked up the cache so there is nothing left to find.

After 5.5 years of being active and 16 keys brought into circulation, and getting lost, it is time to put this one to rest and open the Tuscany ravine up for another cache.

Thanks to everyone who played along and found the cache, it was great reading the stories!

Thanks for the logs!

Geocache Description:

Alberta Battlecache
The cache is not at the posted coordinates

I'm sure you all have been in this situation. You're late for an appointment, the kids need to go to sports practice but are still in their school clothes and the phone rings (another call center agent). Everything needs to happen at once! You still don't know how but you got the kids in their proper clothes at top speed. As you and your kids walk to your car you think "Where did I put my keys?".

This ammo can is one of those caches where exactly this has happened. And I was so careful not to let it happen. I had just placed the ammo can and locked it to prevent muggles from accidentally opening it. I thought that the perfect way to keep track of the keys to the cache was to put a travel bug on them, which I did! But during one of the recent cache runs, I mistakenly placed these travel bugs in some caches in Calgary. If you find a key, could you please take a look at my cache to see if everything is still ok? While you're at it, you can sign the log , just don't put the key in the cache!

To make it easier for you (and me), here are the keys that can open the cache:

So how is it done?

  1. Find a key,
  2. Find the cache,
  3. Open the cache,
  4. Sign the log,
  5. Close and lock the cache,
  6. Put the key into another cache

Good luck!

ps.
This ammo can was a prize I won for a 'best cache' during the CCARW10 event. The container and the contents were created by the Homann Hunters and includes their signature Pencil Pocket. I just had it modified a little bit... Thanks for the ammo can, I hope you enjoy the cache!
