Little Bass Lake Multi-Cache

EnviroFan: The wetness and unwinter friendly aspects of this cache have made it less appealing to geocachers than intended. This cache is being archived and a new more winter friendly cache will be placed in this general area soon.

Geocache Description:

Both legs of this cache are on Conserve School property and the second leg is a short walk from the first. The final cache is an ammo box. Please leave the ammo box upright to help keep the contents dry.

It is suggested that you park on the north side of the road next to the split rail fence. There is a canoe portage there that crosses the fence. Please be mindful of our neighbors directly to the east.

Congratulations to The Family Pack for FTF.

The Conserve School admissions team likes to Geocache when they are on the road. They often bring back trackable items to visit this cache. Please feel free to take one or two with you without worrying about swapping.

Anyone who has studied old maps of the Wisconsin Northwoods has probably noticed that lakes have a habit of changing names. Little Bass Lake and its brother to the north, Big Bass Lake, have had a variety of names. Perhaps you will discover what their current names are. To the west you will find Lake Elaine which has been Lonewood Lake and before that Emil Lake.

Thank you to Conserve School for allowing this cache to be placed on its property.
