Located along the Hall Road in Upshur County this cache is a small lock-n-lock container just large enough for limited small trade items and a log book. BYOP.
The Upshur County Commission purchased this property through the voluntary FEMA buyout program. As part of the restrictive usage, the property is required to be maintained as public property and nothing can be constructed on the property that would prevent the flow of water should there be another flood. Therefore, as a joint project between the Upshur County Commission and the WV Division of Natural Resources Wildlife Resource Section, a “public stream access” site to the Buckhannon River was developed.
This site is closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. No night caching please.
