Located along a suspicious band of Eucalyptus trees lining the Sunnyvale Dump/Recycling Center/Landfill.
I come to visit the Sunnyvale Baylands quite often, and I always drive past these awesome living organisms. Eucalyptus is one of my favorite trees, because of it's unique fresh scent and the overall appearance of the tree itself. But this area is a little suspicious to me...why are there so many in this one spot? The band of trees begin at one side of the Sunnyvale Dump/Landfill, and end at the other! Anyone who has driven past here on a still day knows what that smells like...especially along with the wafting SF Bay smell 1/4 mile north of here. One day Ica187 pondered something as we were driving past the trees to go Geocaching. She says " These tree's must be here to cover up that smell...look how they line the perimeter of the dump!". I had never thought about it until that day, and it is amusingly plausible. I mean, what other explanation could there be? A bunch of Eucalyptus trees lining a landfull...Its a big cover-up to mask the smell!
Geocache is a regular sized container, hidden with natural camo. And please be sure to take your time replacing the camo once you have finished signing the log.
