A light holiday tale;
It was the first time that she left Oklahoma Yellow Park to visit the Provence and she knew this trip would be perfect the moment she heard the breaks of the stopping train.
She hesitated a moment to get off when a perfect lavender scent filled the air the moment the train doors opened.
She noticed the sweet cent of corn flower that blew into the old train station when the antique station doors with jade ornaments opened.
Unconsciously her eyes glanced towards the door, when a woman with a bright red dress walked in.
She noticed the English rose she held in her hand and felt a strange fire inside making her heart beat faster.
A strange excitement overwhelmed her when she jumped from the train, she didn't think of using the ladder and even didn't notice that she almost bumped into an old man eating a nectarine, who gave her a dirty ice look.
Just in front of her she stopped running, not noticing the sunset, eight strikes of the church bells or the whistle of the train that departed behind her.
“Lily Frost?”, she asked with a gentle voice, “Yes, I am Lily” she replied softly.
She stared at her light red hair with gentle deep blue eyes that made her forget everything for a few seconds, she wanted to ask.
She opened her arms and said with a clear voice “Welcome to Mauve”, “the smallest village of the South”.
I am your aunt Terry, red hair runs in the family I see, it’s the rust of our steel nerves sticking through our skulls” she laughed out loud.
You must be hungry from your journey, here is some chocolate or do you rather have an apricot, she continued, I am sure we will find some rare snails here for your collection with the help of uncle Lee, but she just smiled and imagined what a great holiday this was going to be,
