Although this one's not acually in the Meadows, you pass through them to get there. Park on Old Topanga Canyon Blvd. at N 34 05.583 W 118 36.575
I suggest going up one way, and down another. The Meadows are beautiful, especially in spring when everything's in bloom. When you are coming back from the cache and you come to the first fork (at the top of the ridge), take the opposite way back down. You'll end up in the same place, but you'll see a whole lot more.
You should enjoy this one quite a bit. It's a great hike, and it's not your average cache. I've spent a little time finding some nice things to put in this one, so when you set out to find it, please try to do the same. Here's an idea of the types of things I've left:
- picture frame
- candle holders
- candle
- velvet covered black paper journal
- set of note cards
- glitter gel pen
- 2 bracelets and a choker
- new package of Goooze
- Lots, lots more!
Try to replace what you take with something you think equally cool to keep this cache a "rich" find for the next trekkers. Most of all, have fun!
