Geocache Description:

Gamletorvet ligger like nord for Gjøviks gamle sentrum - og øst for de moderne sentrumsområdene ved Fahlstrøms plass og CC Mart'n. For få tiår siden var det fortsatt torghandel på Gamletorvet (senere flyttet til Nytorvet nedenfor Gjøvik kirke). Gamletorvet har nå blitt parkeringsplass. Ved den gamle torvplassen ligger flere forretnings- og spisesteder.
