Denby Delf was once a quarry, one of many in Denby Parish. It is also known locally as Mosley Roughs. For many years it has been a nature reserve, a place of recreation for the people of Denby, and a site of scientific interest. Some of the caches in this series are on flat ground but one is down a slope and one comes back up the slope, it gets muddy in places so good footwear is recommended.
Please be aware of livestock in these fields.
Go straight up the field and over the wooden stile, to avoid the swamp keep walking up for a few metres then turn left around the gorse bushes. The cache is a small snap-box, it includes usual items. Please replace and cover carefully. Now straight up the slope to the bonus cache.
