Geocache Description:


The sixth of Water Slider’s series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds.

Back to Thorner again for a four and a half mile circular walk around the village on public bridleways and footpaths.

There are six caches and a bonus, if you do all six, each has information which will allow you to find the bonus cache.

Best parking is on Stead Lane, we parked at N 53° 51.506 W 001° 25.387.

Please note after rain this walk can be muddy, please wear appropriate footwear.

From number 1 continue along the path at the side of the hedge then diagonally across the field, through the middle of a field then along a hedge and past a trig point. Just after the trig point turn right and follow the hedge all the way to the end of the field, through the hedge, turn left and follow this path along hedge and through field until you go over a stile and arrive on the track near the wood. Turn right here and head towards the A64.
