Bjørndalsniben er, med sine 274 moh, ein av dei høgare toppane i grensa mellom Jæren og Dalane.
Bjørndalsniben, with its 274 m.a.s.l., is one of the higher peaks along the border between Jæren and Dalane.
Utsikt mot Homsevatnet og innover mot den nedlagte garden på Homse
Frå toppen av Bjørndalsniben er dei ei flott utsikt i alle himmelretningar.
Du kan sjå utover Ognaheia og langt utover Jærhavet. Det er observert mykje rovfugl i området, mellom anna Hubro.
From the top of Bjørndalsniben there is great view in all directions.
You can see beyond Ognaheia and far out to the ocean. It is observed much birds of prey in the area, including the Eurasian Eagle Owl (lat. bubo bubo)

Parking at Hetland kraftstasjon or at Herredsvela
Det går sti frå Herredsvela til Homsegruvene, vidare over Bjørndalsniben og ned mot Ualand (og vidare gjennom Rabali til Hetland kraftsasjon). Stien er noko gjenngrodd og kan difor vera vond å sjå ein del stader.
Oppdatering juni 2012:
Det er nymerka (rød) løype frå Ualandsida. Følg merka løype gjennom Rabali og vidare oppover i retning søre enden av Homsevatnet til du kjem til løypeskilt retning Bjørndalsniba.
