River Runners Traditional Cache

juniorwoodchuckhuey: A little bird told me that the bleachers around the ballfield are gone. They were the "host" of the cache. It was a weathered 2x4x4 block of wood screwed to a beam supporing the bleacher. Removing a nail in the side released a match container inside a hole.

Apparently there are "no trespassing" signs up as well. So I am archiving this cache. It was here for just over 15 years. Not a bad stretch. Cache on!

Geocache Description:

Congratulations to Intemperance Society on FTF!

This modest little cache is at a ballfield in Gaspereau. The cache is a plastic match container. It has moved from its original hiding spot to a better concealed location. Coords may be slightly off although I averaged readings to get it. See hint.

I placed this cache in an area where I spent many evenings watching my kid's baseball team, the Gaspereau River Runners. The surrounding area, especially along the river, is beautiful year round.
