"Maihama Point" is located in the west edge of Urayasu and the mouth of Old Edogawa.
From here, you can closely enjoy scenery of Tokyo Bay such as "Kasai rinkai Park" and "Tokyo rinkai bridge".
The breakwater was built at the reclamation of Maihama, then this area had been left undeveloped.
Only the jogger or the fisherman passes here. You can enjoy strolling quietly.
At last, the redevelopment started, and this place will be reborn to the seaside park in several years.

通称「舞浜岬」は浦安の西端、旧江戸川河口に位置しています。
ここから、葛西臨海公園、東京港臨海大橋をはじめ、東京湾岸の景色を楽しむことができます。
このエリアは舞浜の埋め立て時に防波堤が築かれたまま、長年に渡って放置されてきました。
そのため人通りが少なく、たまにジョギングや釣りを楽しむ人が通る位で、ゆっくり散策することができます。
最近になってようやく再整備が始まり、数年後にはシーサイドパークに生まれ変わる予定です。
今のうちにこの静けさを楽しんで下さい。
