Geocache Description:

I won this container at the 10 Years! Jacksonville Florida event and thought I would share the fun with fellow cachers...

Inside of the container you will find a stamp and ink pad. Please DO NOT REMOVE either item, as they are an essential part of the letterbox.

The coordinates will take you to the starting point for the letter box instructions. There is NO PARKING anywhere in the immediate vicinity of the posted coordinates! I do not recommend trying to park here or anywhere marked "No Parking", in the area. This is a regularly visited spot by security personnel and they will not take kindly to you ignorning the posted warning signs in the area.

As an alternative, you may park in the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens parking lot (marked as a waypoint) from 8 AM - 7 PM, 7 days a week. The Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens showcase an incredible variety of North Florida Flora and Fauna and would make a great excuse to head out with the dog and/or kids for a short afternoon adventure. The gardens and letterbox are both easily accessible for your four-legged friends, children, and strollers.

From the posted coordinates proceed on foot 50' West. Make a sharp turn and proceed 260' South. At the end of the 260' you will be near an object. From the object, turn West and proceed 90' until you have found a pair of metal brothers (one short and fat, one tall and skinny). From the vantage point of the brothers, you will see a straight line of like objects. Follow the line of objects until you have reached the 18th in the line. 50' SouthWest of the 18th object you will see a large tree assailed by palms and spanish moss. The letterbox is within a few feet of the base of the tree.

Good luck!
