Geocache Description:

A magnetic micro near a hotel.

Back in the late 1980’s, while trying to find RDU, I drove past this hotel thinking it was a giant water slide. After some time of driving on 440E/440W, the “Belt Line”, I was seriously lost, so when I drove by the hotel all I got was a quick glance. At the time I could have sworn it was a water slide like those I had ridden on as a child.
