Charlie & Molly's Beagle Cache Traditional Cache
Airblazer: Timehop reminded me today that I placed this cache 5 years ago exactly. The geobeagles are getting old, but they are still alive and ticking. :-) We have however moved out of Lawrence...
Between the move, the cache being muggled, and today being the 5 year anniversary, it seemed like a good time to archive this one. Thanks to everyone who found it over the last 5 years. Arroooooooo!

This should be a fairly easy find. Not far off of one of the main trails, it is in plain sight. Standard ammo box. You will need to do a little bushwacking at the end, and you probably want your boots during the wetter times of the year. Please replace as you found it!
This pretty, 120 acre park was one of my favorite places to walk with the beagles... before I discovered geocaching, and all the other places I could go. If you head there after work, you may just hear Molly baying in the woods... Me and the beagles found our 1st cache (Den Rock Dog Cache) nearby just a month ago! We were instantly addicted!
This cache is dedicated to Charlie and Molly - my best friends, and geocaching companions. Please try to stick to the theme of dog-related items and travel bugs if possible, and please sign the log.

Meet the Geo-Beagles...
Charlie was my 1st Beagle baby (at least as an adult). He was approx 7 years old when I adopted him from the MSPCA in Feb 2007. He was very overweight and lethargic, and I found out early on that he had kidney problems. I am happy to say that our hikes and a healthy diet have paid off! He has lost 8 lbs, and now weighs a healthy 20 lbs, and his kidney levels are almost normal. He is a little crazy though... not wanting to be away from me for a second! You'll know it is him if you ever run into a beagle tethered to a tree in the woods screaming his head off! LOL! (He is a little too small to do the final bushwacking when closing in on some caches.) Charlie's favorite things are eating, walking, and chasing squirrels. He is also extremely talented, knowing a lot of tricks for a little beagle.
Molly was my 1st foster Beagle while I volunteered for BONES Beagles. When I picked her up, she hopped right into my lap and fell asleep... and we were instantly in love! I knew I couldn't give this one up! That was August 2007 and she was just 4 years old. We have since fostered many other beagles and helped them find their forever homes. Molly is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses. Her favorite things are long hikes in the woods (she hiked 35 miles on the Appalachian Trail with me in 2009), chasing squirrels, and riding on the back of my motorcycle!
Both of my babies are moving travel bugs, so be sure to 'discover' them when you meet them!
CONGRATS to PhotoEMTChet & Umclaidet who was FTF before I even rolled out of bed and knew it was published!!! :-)
UPDATE 8/4/10 - Please do not leave dog treats or other perishables in the cache. I had to remove moldy/smelly treats today. Thanks so much! Happy Caching!
