Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinate.

You are looking for a small size 400ml Sistema container.

The fourth in a series of caches based on some of my favourite movies.

Note: This movie is rated

FTF - dazzpete (Their very first FTF) Joint Silver - o'cholio & Kia1 Bronze - JadedOptimists

This cache was originally placed so that a geocoin owned by Labrador Wild Man of Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada to be released in Australia under the World Release Register initiative Groundspeak Forum - World Release Register.

The inspiration for this cache comes from the movie Fly Away Home which is about Canada Geese and thier migration south for the winter.

Like the geese this coin from Canada has travelled south to escape the winter snow and ice of Labrador (a bit of artistic licence here as it really was the Canadian summer when the cache was placed).

Fly Away Home

Amy is only 13 years old when her mother is killed in an car crash in New Zealand. She goes to Canada to live with her father, an eccentric inventor whom she barely knows. Amy is miserable in her new life...that is until she discovers a nest of goose eggs that were abandoned when developers began tearing up a local forest. The eggs hatch and Amy becomes "Mother Goose". The young birds must fly south for the winter, but who will lead them there? With a pair of ultralight airplanes, Amy, her dad and their friends must find a way to do it...

The film is loosely based on the real-life experiences of Bill Lishman, a Canadian inventor, artist, and ultralight aircraft hobbyist. During the late 1980s and early 1990s, Lishman openly wondered if geese and similar birds could be taught new migration patterns by following ultralight aircraft onto which they had been imprinted.

After several years of logistical and bureaucratic setbacks, Lishman successfully led a flock of Canada Geese on a winter migration from Ontario, Canada to Northern Virginia, U.S.A. A number of the birds that participated in the migration returned the following year entirely on their own.

The Cache

To find this cache get the family together, grab some snacks and drinks, and settle down to watch what I consider to be a really great 'feel good' movie.

The kids will really love this one.

There are two pieces of information you need to gather. These are:
The registration number of Amy's father's truck
The registration number of Amy's father's biplane ultralight
The truck and ultralight rego numbers now need to be converted to all numbers.
Where any letters are concerned then convert them to numbers using your phone keypad.

You now have two numbers being
Truck = ABCDEF and
Ultralight = GHIJK

The cache location is: S34 4G.H(A+B)(E-F) E138 3J.A(B-D)(C-H)
