Geocache Description:

The Nakano School (陸軍中野学校 Rikugun Nakano Gakko) was the primary training center for military intelligence operations by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.

There was a Nakano school Futamata branch here.

Now, stone monument and the anchor used by training exists.


The container is hidden in the place where the stone monument is seen.

陸軍中野学校二俣分校（りくぐんなかのがっこうふたまたぶんこう）は、ゲリラ戦要員の短期育成を目的とした旧日本陸軍の教育機関。旧陸軍の解散とともに廃止された。 諜報や防諜、宣伝など秘密戦に関する教育からゲリラ戦術の教育に変化していった中野学校とは異なり、当初からゲリラ戦術、破壊工作の訓練を目的に設置された。 卒業生に小野田寛郎や谷本喜久男、末次一郎等がいる。
現在ここには石碑と、訓練で使用した錨が置かれています。
