Hidden in the Flinders is a wonderful spot called Warren's Gorge. A favourite spot of the Newbs Clan, we have often come up here for camping trips and days out. Apart from being all but perfect, it has now been made a little more perfect with the instillation of a couple of fancy new loos. They may not come with the fancy flushing system that many of us enjoy in our own homes, but they do bring a little bit of class and comfort to a beautiful camping spot.
So to celebrate the facilities (almost an ensuite if you camp close enough) we placed a cache while camping here a little while ago.
While at GZ if you look just down the hill where the two creeks meet up you will see our favourite camping spot.
Log only cache. Please bring own pen/pencil. Unfortunatly getting an accurate position at GZ was impossible. So the coordinates will bring you to the facility. All you have to do is look inside.........
*** We have been informed Flinders Ranges Council have implemented a fee system for entering Warren's Gorge. There is an honesty box at the entrance to the gorge now. $2 for a day trip and $7 for camping. Still well worth the money to explore the gorgeous area. Thanks to Diggers 09 for letting us know ***
