Hidden along Great Plains Road in the West Springfield watershed area. A nice easy hike to take with your favorite little girl to find a round lock and lock full of little dolls to trade. To avoid any confusion, I contacted the West Springfield Park and Recreation department to find out about the "No Trespassing" signs in the area. They assured me that hiking and biking are permissible, and that the signs were placed due to problems with motorized vehicles and trash dumping, which are strictly forbidden. If there are young boys in your caching group, please drop by the Car Cache nearby to trade small cars. Have fun and be aware the mosquitos are plentiful and hungry in the area. Parking is plentiful at the end of Bearhole Road.
