Not only are we
celebrating 5 Years of Geocaching, but we reached our 1400
Milestone on this weekend, and the very first geocache we hid
(GCPM2F Columbia Views -- That's No Mockery) is hid at this
location too!
As noted, this cache
is hid off the Mel Deanna Trail so park in the viewpoint area near
the toilets and climb the stairs to enjoy your short hike in the
enclosed area. There are benches to enjoy the views as well. Some
of you might want to park on the shoulder and take the shorter,
steeper, not as easy, more direct route, but you are cheating
yourself out of an interesting short hike on the knoll. Besides,
you might want to continue on this 5-6 km loop trail down to the
ponds and the "Mel Deanna" (GC13MTK) cache and you wouldn't want to
leave your vehicle on the side of the road. For more info on the

We challenge
local cachers (hey Pappy90 & Dyelo!) to put out more caches on
this trail system too as there is lots of room and lots to see!
Let's entice more cachers to do this hike so we need the middle
filled up!
