Geocache Description:

"Willys Pasture cache" is located at the Carey Pasture in Farmington with parking at 10 Mountain Spring Rd (off of RT 4). This looks like a private drive but vere to the left and park in front of the 3 bay town garage. There is only parking for 3 cars there. Do not park on the road as this is a very busy and narrow road.

After parking in front of the garage head into the pasture toward the old running barn that is being restored. Follow the mowed path with orange blazed FLT markers that lead in front of the barn toward the left side of the field. Continue to follow the orange blazes right on the edge of the woods. On your way stop to check out the old root cellar. The cache is located a short distance off the trail. You're looking for a large 50 caliber ammo box at these coordinates (N41 43.604 W72 48.881). This is a large cache loaded with all kinds of goodies. Please take the extra time to re-hide it well so others can be challenged as well. This is not a very well know spot but you will encounter the occasional muggle so be aware. This is a Pasture and wooded area so wear proper clothing and expect to encounter poison ivy, prickers and possibly ticks, so take the necessary precautions. This one should be pretty easy and can even be done on your lunch break.

While in the area please check out my other cache "Talcott Ridge Cache" Thanks and have fun!!!!

UPDATE : The FLT has notified me that the pasture trails will be mowed every two weeks.
