Geocache Description:

As close to the wonderfully-located and very popular Castlerigg Stone Circle as I could get for a cache big enough for swaps. Hope you like the location, and please post some photos when you log your visit.

There is no need to move any stones in the Dry Stone wall to find the cache.

The cache is closest to the top of the field where there is a stile. If you prefer to use the gate at the bottom of the field, it is a longer walk to the cache.

The cache is a small sandwich box.

Parking is available nearby at Castlerigg Stone Circle. Please keep any dogs on the lead as there are usually sheep in the field.

This cache was used to send Puck the Travel Dolphin off on his mission to visit Rome and Milan before coming back to the Lakes. Buon viaggio Puck!

I also placed Cunobolin's Silver! Geocoin here as the Stone Circle is a place of historical interest.

Congratulations to the Orrisons for the First to Find, and thanks for the photo!
