The cache is a sandwich size lock 'n lock. Park hours are dawn to dusk. Please do not come here at night.
Update 7-25-2012: New container is a well cammoed pill bottle. Hint will be adjusted accordingly as the hide location is a few feet away in a different spot.
This is my favorite park near home and I keep looking for more cache sites that won’t conflict with several others in this great park. The hide is not far from the park main entrance at 15th AVE NE and NE 165th ST. There are some toys, a new deck of cards, a “Sniffer Skunk” pin, an un-activated "HQ" TB and a nice new Lackeys 2010 coin for FTF.
No bushwhacking required except watch out for some holly and blackberry right at GZ. Please try to stay on trails. The cache is only about 15' from a well established trail and there is already a faint geotrail in two places leading to GZ. Signals are sketchy in these woods so I will provide a good hint after the FTF so folks don't damage vegetation.
The best parking is at the main parking area (see waypoints below). Bathrooms and a kid’s play area are nearby. If you park there, you can have a nice walk through the park to get to the cache and also visit some of the other active caches in this park. An alternative parking option is alongside the entrance road near the cache (again, see below). Enjoy your visit!
