When I lived here, it seemed like it rains almost every day. My ex-wife hated it.
From what I can remember, only July & August were months of no rain and for the area, heat.
There are parks everywhere and they are green all the time. I can't wait to move back and enjoy the Pacific Northwest once again.
The cache is very visible once you are near. Parking near the cache is extremely limited, like only room for one car at best. The cache is on the opposite side of the road so be careful parking as well as crossing the road. Traffic is generally pretty light but at the right time of day, anything is possible.
Please be careful near ground zero, there is a slope getting to the cache and it can get slippery when wet.
When I was young, my brother & I had a club during the summer time for boys ONLY!!
The girls then started their own club. To keep the girls from knowing what we were doing, we used a simple code to keep them scratching their heads. The code was simple and easy but to this day it still drives those unaware of it, half way up a wall.
We enjoyed using it, especially on a "Rainy Day".
Like we said, the code is actually a child's code. One we read about as kids. Figure the puzzle out below and you will be half way there. Find the cache and you will have discovered what we found on a "Rainy Day" in Oregon. Beauty, Peace & Serenity. Oh and of course... the cache.
