The Great Pacific Northwest. I love this part of the country. I love the rain and the peace and serenity it brings to ones heart & mind. If you enjoy the rain, then Washington is the place for you... maybe even Ocean Shores.
The cache is located on private property but have no fear, the property owners know it's there.
They are very good friends of mine whom I have known for over 40 years. While I was visiting they asked me to leave a cache on their property so they could enjoy watching those who come out to try and find it.
The cache can be reached without going on to their property. The plants near ground zero can be stepped on, they have horsetail everywhere and look at it as a weed.
They do not mind if you trample the horsetail, it will grow back no matter what. If need be, you can use their driveway to turn around but park to the south of the property at the chained drive next to the house. It's their axillary driveway for guest who visit with a motorhome or trailer. If you are familiar with the area, it may pay dividends.
Their home is known as the Animal Farm because of all the critters who come there to feed.
When I was young, my brother & I had a club during the summer time for boys ONLY!!
The girls then started their own club. To keep the girls from knowing what we were doing, we used a simple code to keep them scratching their heads. The code was simple and easy but to this day it still drives those unaware of it, half way up a wall.
We enjoyed using it, especially on a "Rainy Day".
Like we said, the code is actually a child's code. One we read about as kids. Figure the puzzle out below and you will be half way there. Find the cache and you will have discovered what we found on a "Rainy Day" in Washington. Beauty, Peace & Serenity. Oh and of course... the cache.
The location of the cache is one which you will surely enjoy. At the right time of day, look in the yard and see if the deer are eating the apples. It will overwhelm you to see how many come to feed in the yard.
Other times you could get lucky and see, geese, raccoon, ducks and who knows what
All I can say is, I am sure glad I was here on a day when the yard was full of geese.
I missed all the deer.
Oh well, if you cache around town, you will see plenty of them.
NOTE: Please take the time to make sure the cache container is completely closed. If not water will get inside. Thanks.
Please do not include any spoiler pictures or hints in your logs. All logs with any hint what-so-ever as to where the cache is will be deleted immediately!

A small note on cache maintenance:
My good friends Randy & Donna, who live here, have agreed to be the local maintainers of the cache.
Thanks
