Geocache Description:

First to Find: Congratulations to GEOBIGHUNTER!!
Now this cache is
part of the Master of Mystery (MoM) Bochum # 11.

**Listed coordinates are close to the final stage. You must solve a
puzzle in order to get access to the final stage.** This cache is
located in Dos Palmas Reef Island; it is part of 7 small islands of
Cayos Barca. The place has been nominated as one of the Ten Puerto
Rico Natural Wonders. Since this is a long trip to the Cache, you
may email or call me to check for its reachability. Jobos Bay
National Estuarine Research Reserve (JBNERR also known as JoBaNERR
or JoBaNES) is one-of-a-kind in PR and the Caribbean. There are 27
other NERRs in US. Since 1981 JBNERR has been managing and
protecting estuarine resources between Guayama and Salinas towns.
With educational, research and monitoring programs we serve the
public with interpretive trips and talks. We have coastal resources
such dry and mangrove forest (Jagüeyes Forest), reef islands
(Caribe Cays, La Barca Cays) and Mar Negro (series of mangrove
channels and coastal bays) with a peculiar dark color. This is due
to tannins leached from mangrove roots. JBNERR has the highest
Antillean manatee densities in PR (~30 out of 200 in PR) also
bottle nose dolphins use the bay. This is a heavy winds and waves
passage between Cayo Caribe and Cayo Barca. Bring a bag and help
doing CITO. The listed coordinates ARE NOT THE FINAL STAGE. In
order to get access to the final stage you MUST solve the puzzle
below! Apparently only people with high IQ are able to figure it
out. Maybe this is not true but it is fun! IF... 1 + 3= 4, and 6
+2= 48, and 5 + 5= 50, and 7 + 4= 77, Then... 8 + 8= A You will
need to answer the following to get the final cache coordinates: N
17° 54.(A * 7.5) W 66° 14.(A * 6.5) You can check your answers for
this puzzle on (visit link)
Geochecker.com. You may also check the coordinates (visit link) and
enter your name when you
decode the puzzle. You are looking for a small container
(zip-lock) that holds a log book and a FTF prize. To get access to
this cache you must navigate (boat or kayak) to a small island with
public access 24/7. To get access directions please visit GC1TDNE
(Cayo Caribe JBNERR) description. Please check the weather before
going after this GC in a Kayak. If it’s windy kayaking is not
recommended. Please follow the waypoints, the trail may dissapear
because plants grow. Enjoy the flora and fauna of the place. From
the cache you will enjoy a nice view of the reef platform and its
crystalline waters. You may call Angel (OCEANOGRAPHER) 787-502-9302.
