Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small tupperware box located near the River Gade close to a Public footpath.
There is safe and easy parking on the road parallel to the main road.

The River Gade meanders towards Hemel Hempstead, being diverted by several disused water mills. The river crosses the main A4146 several times before entering the town. From 1000 AD there were many mills along the River Gade. The Mill Piccotts End would have received corn from the surrounding farms for grinding. The original mill had been rebuilt but the most recent building was destroyed by fire in 1991. The Mill house is still there, converted into flats. This towers over the surroundings.
