Geocache Description:

This stone and plaque marks the site of the Old Block House on the Andrew Chambers Donation Claim. It was placed by the Sacajawea Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Please view the attached picture. The dates have been rubbed out.

I'd driven by this stone for decades when it was hidden from view by tall grass and vines. It was setting along Rainier Rd. near the parking lot of the Horizons Elementary School. It was moved about four years ago to the original location of the building.

The stated coordinates will bring you to easy plaque parking southbound off Rainier Rd. just after the end of the bike lane.

====== The work begins ======

Here is what you need to do to find the cammo'd mayo jar at the final. There are two dates on the plaque.

1) The first will determine the last three digits of latitude. Subtract 1545 from when the Block House was built. It's the top date.

2) The second date will determine the last three digits of longitude. Subtract 1159 from when the Daughters of the Revolution placed the plaque.

That's it. I like to make things simple.
