Small plastic tub located just off the Rosewell to Penicuik section of this footpath. The path to the area is rather bumpy with loose gravel in places. Wheelchair users would probably need assistance and would definitely need help to retrieve cache.
We regularly run our dogs along this path. Luca, our cocker spaniel, cannot run past this spot without stopping off for a swim to cool down.
This is a well used path with plenty of muggle activity, especially on a good day and at weekends. Some stealth may be needed.
