Geocache Description:

Easy parking just off the B1074 Herringflleet Hills. Also reachable by boat. No need to go near riverbanks. (unless on a boat)!

Small Tupperware container. Log book pencil and goodies. Herringfleet Mill is a working small octagonal smock windpump on the River Waveney - access via footpath. Built about 1825 and drives a 16 foot diameter scoop wheel in adjacent boarded housing. There is a small (free) car park on the Herringfleet road and the mill is about 15 minutes walk from there along the waymarked footpath.
