Stoll'n Treasures Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rattlingcrew: Greetings from GeoCaching.com

I have once again been looking at caches in the area which have been temporarily disabled for a while now. It appears that your cache has been under the weather for an extended period of time.

While I feel that GeoCaching.com should hold this location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time. I do not think we can do so any longer.

Therefore I have archived this cache. If you have not done so, please pick up any cache bits left behind as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. Better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your "My Cache Page" and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to look at your cache again to see if it is within the guidelines of the GeoCaching.com website for placing of a cache.

Having caches posted as temporarily disabled for extended periods is particularly annoying for local cachers, as it still show up on their "to do" cache lists.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to the GeoCaching sport. I am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the near future.

Thanks for understanding our position,
Your friendly, but sometimes not real popular Kansas Admin.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a two-stage multi-cache and our first try at hiding any caches. We really have enjoyed the multi-stage ones, so we thought we'd give one a try. The terrain is fairly flat with easy to follow paths and/or access to both parts of this cache. The "treasure" might require a little looking, but it's not to hard to "dig up".

This coordinates are for the first stage of this two-stage cache (It's our first time hiding one, so we didn't want to go too far overboard!). The first part provides the coordinates to the "real" treasure and a clue that might help you locate the exact spot. The cache itself is a small rubbermade container that is slightly larger than a 35mm film canister. There is no room for anyone to leave anything behind here. The coordinates and clue are inclued on a piece of paper and on the container itself. Finding this first part may be a bit of fun. We hid it in a way we haven't seen before.
